For the first few minutes, it's entertaining to watch some very random interdimensional TV shows (for example, a murder mystery show in a universe where humanity evolved from corn, an advertisement for "Real Fake Doors", and a plethora of other things which the creators seem to have come up with off the tops of their minds), but it loses its novelty very soon. Partway through episode 5 'The Whirly Dirly Conspiracy' the episode suddenly cuts out (right before Rick and Jerry get on the ship) and flashes to the credits.
It is plain for anyone to see that Interdimensional Cable is a plot device relying on formulaic elements to create an exceptionally dull filler episode. Don't let the word "Interdimensional" hoodwink you into thinking that there is some epic sci-fi adventure of the kind the show is so renowned for.
